This notice explains what personal details Visa zone collects, why, who sees them, how long we keep them, and what you can do about it. It applies to our website www.visazone.in, our enquiry forms, our Facebook and Instagram lead forms, our seminars, our offices, and our messages to you.
"Visa zone", "we" and "us" mean Visa zone Education & Immigration Services Pvt. Ltd., 502 Addor Aspire-1, University Road, Ahmedabad 380015, Gujarat, India. We advise students and travellers on study abroad, admissions and visas.
We decide how your details are used, so under Indian law we are the "data fiduciary" for them.
Contact: info@visazone.in or +91 74868 60001.
When you enquire (a form on our website, a Facebook or Instagram form, a seminar registration, a walk-in or a call): your name, mobile number, email, city, your education so far, the country or course you are interested in, and where you heard about us.
When you become our client: the documents your application needs. These usually include your passport, academic records, test scores, work history, financial documents such as bank statements and sponsor details, family details, photographs, and earlier visa history. We collect only what the university or visa authority asks for.
When you visit our website: basic technical details such as your browser, device and the pages you open, collected through cookies (see section 11).
When we talk: notes of our calls, meetings and messages with you, so that the next person who helps you knows what was discussed.
We do not ask for more than we need, and we do not buy contact lists.
We use your details only for these purposes:
We use your details because you have agreed, by ticking the consent box on our form or by giving us your details for a service you asked for. We ask separately before sending promotional messages.
You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 8). Withdrawing does not undo what was done before, and if you withdraw in the middle of an application we may not be able to continue it.
We never sell your details. We share them only as needed for the purposes above:
Our systems are hosted with cloud providers, and some of their servers are outside India, for example in Singapore. When you apply abroad, your details also go to the university and the visa authority of that country. We send details outside India only as Indian law allows.
You can, at any time and free of charge:
How: write to info@visazone.in, or send a WhatsApp message to +91 96623 24234. To stop promotional messages, reply STOP to any of them. We may ask a question or two to confirm it is really you. We act on requests within 15 days.
We send news about seminars, intakes and offers by WhatsApp, SMS and email only to people who ticked the separate box for it. Every such message tells you how to stop. Stopping them does not affect messages about your own application.
We are glad to help students who are under 18, but we need the consent of a parent or legal guardian before we use their details. Our forms ask for it. We do not track the online behaviour of anyone under 18 or direct advertising at them. If a person under 18 has given us details without a parent's or guardian's consent, tell us and we will erase them.
Our website uses cookies, which are small files stored by your browser, to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. We also advertise on Facebook, Instagram and Google; those companies may use cookies to show our advertisements to people who visited our website. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Access to client files is limited to staff who need them, each with their own login. Our systems use encrypted connections, and documents are kept in access-controlled storage. Paper files are kept in our offices under lock. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your details, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Our Grievance Officer is Maulin Gandhi, Director. Write to info@visazone.in or call +91 74868 60001. We will acknowledge your complaint and reply with a decision within 15 days.
